Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students Judges' Travel Subsidy

November 7-10, 2012 San Jose, California

ABRCMS recognizes the limitation of funding available to faculty and postdocs attending the conference and thus is providing additional funding to support faculty and postdocs who are active researchers and first time attendees willing to serve as judges for all poster and oral presentations throughout the conference.

Subsidy provides up to $1,500 to cover:

Registration (includes all scheduled meals, conference materials, closing banquet and access to all sessions)
Housing (4 nights at one of the conference hotels)
Travel (airfare and ground transportation)

Eligibility

Prospective applicants must satisfy the following four criteria:

First-time ABRCMS Judge, and
Postdoctoral scientist or faculty member, and
Active researcher in one of the twelve scientific disciplines represented at the conference, and
Available to judge all poster and oral sessions scheduled throughout the conference, November 7 - 10.
