Orthopaedic Research Society William H. Harris, MD Award

This prestigious award, sponsored by the Harris Fellows Club, will honor an individual based on the quality and scientific merit of a paper submitted to a review committee of Orthopaedic Research Society Special Projects Committee members.

Eligibility Criteria

The topic of the paper must be related to basic and/or clinical research involving the hip. All types of research related to hip reconstructive surgery (i.e. biological, mechanical, clinical, etc.) are appropriate topics for the paper.

The primary applicant must be 45 years of age and under, and an ORS member in good standing.

A primary author is limited to one award per lifetime. One application per primary author/applicant will be accepted per year.

An abstract must be submitted to the ORS Annual Meeting using the online submission system by the established abstract deadline.

Deadline: September 1

A submission package for the William H. Harris, MD Award must be forwarded to the ORS office electronically to lewsza@ors.org by SEPTEMBER 1.

Abstract submitted for the Annual Meeting of the Orthopaedic Research Society (please note, deadline to submit an abstract is different than the September 1 deadline to apply for Harris award. Check the ORS website www.ors.org for abstract submission deadline)

Full manuscript which is to be formatted according to the submission guidelines for the Journal of Orthopaedic Research
