Travel Support for Participants of Advances in Geriatric Nephrology
Travel support is being offered to participants of Advances in Geriatric Nephrology, held from October 30-31, 2012 at Kidney Week 2012. Travel support recipients will also receive complimentary registration for the course. Preference for support will be given to those interested in geriatric nephrology research at both the basic and clinical levels.
The American Society of Nephrology is committed to providing travel support assistance to its members, through society resources and through external grant support. Because external funding is not guaranteed, the extent of travel support available for Advances in Geriatric Nephrology is unknown at this time.
Eligibility
To receive travel support, a recipient must:
Be a current ASN member, as of July 1, 2012;
Attend ONLY the program for which travel support is issued and may not attend another ASN Early Program.
Fellows or postdoctoral students residing in North or Central America are eligible for free ASN membership. Fellows from Latin America are eligible for free ASN membership through the ASN William E. Mitch, III, MD, FASN International Scholars Program. For membership information, visit www.asn-online.org/membership/.
