Managing and Learning from Payment and Delivery System Reform 2012 Call for Proposals
Deadline: July 16, 2012, 3:00 p.m. EDT
The purpose of this call for proposals is to identify one or more organizations that can assist the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) with its payment and delivery system reform work. The grantee(s) selected through this solicitation will undertake a comprehensive learning process that will involve: synthesizing and monitoring RWJF payment and delivery system reform grants, analyzing public and private reform efforts in the field at large, and convening practitioners and researchers to identify common themes, challenges, and opportunities.
The grantee(s) will use this learning process to help the Foundation more clearly articulate and share the results of its work, spot programming gaps and identify opportunities for future grantmaking, and assist existing and possibly future RWJF grantees as their payment and delivery system reform projects unfold.
Up to $800,000 for up to 24 months.
The Foundation may award the full amount to a single organization for the full scope of work, or may award up to three separate grants to different organizations for specific tasks.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria:
The Foundation may give preference to applicants that are either public entities or nonprofit organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are not private foundations or Type III supporting organizations.
Applicant organizations must be based in the United States or its territories.
Consistent with RWJF values, this call for proposals embraces diversity and inclusion across multiple dimensions, such as race, ethnicity, gender, age, and disadvantaged socioeconomic status. We strongly encourage applications from candidates who will help us expand the perspectives and experiences we bring to our work. We believe that the more we include diverse perspectives and experiences in our work, the better we are able to help all Americans live healthier lives and get the care they need.
