Grant Program: Validating miRNA Targets and Studying Post-Transcriptional Regulation With MISSION 3’UTR Lentiviral GoCloneReporter Assays

Sigma Aldrich and SwitchGear Genomics are awarding grants (valued at ~$4,000) for miRNA target validation using our new MISSION 3’UTR Lenti GoClone reporter assays. The new system includes our genome-wide collection of human MISSION 3’UTR Lenti GoClones, control contructs, miRNA mimics/inhibitors, and optimized LightSwitch Luciferase Assay Reagentsthat allow you to validate the targets of any miRNA in living cells. We are offering grants to researchers who can utilize our products for unique studies.

Research Grant Objectives

We are currently awarding:

MISSION 3’UTR Lenti GoClones (up to 5 reporter constructs)
LightSwitch Luciferase Assay Reagent
Control Constructs (Housekeeping and empty constructs)

Up to three grants will be awarded. Deadline for submission is June 15, 2012. Grants will be awarded by July 15, 2012.

Grant submission: Winning grant entries will be displayed on our website. The grantee acknowledges that SwitchGear Genomics and Sigma may use any subsequent published material from the collaboration in promotional materials. We will not use any information until data is published.
