Alex Lieber Memorial Scholarship
The Alex Lieber Memorial Scholarship will award four (4) $500 scholarships, to U.S. students, to help offset the expenses of a higher education. The scholarship money may be used to purchase text books, gasoline, airline tickets, computer hardware or software, or any justifiable expense related to receiving a higher education.
To be considered, applicants must...
Have hemophilia or von Willebrand disease.
Be accepted by an accredited college, university, vocational/technical, or post secondary school.
Be a resident of the United States.
Be able to demonstrate volunteer service experience.
Agree that the funds are to be spent on expenses directly related to education, such as books, housing, transportation, or fees.
The scholarship review committee reserves the right to make all final decisions. Scholarship application deadline: June 1, 2012.
