Sigma Theta Tau International/Assessment Technologies Institute Educational Assessment Nursing Research Grant

The purpose of this grant, co-sponsored by Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI), with the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International will support research that encourages the appropriate use of a standardized assessment program in a nursing education curriculum, including, but not limited to:

* Use of formative assessment to drive remediation
* Use of summative assessment to guide curricular evaluation and revision
* Timing of assessment administration within a program of study
* Identification of key markers of at-risk student status

Research Funding
Funds for this grant are provided by Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI).

Funds for this grant do not cover expenses incurred prior to the funding date.

Eligibility Criteria
* Registered nurse with current license
* Have a master's or doctoral degree or be enrolled in a doctoral program
* Submit a completed research application package and signed research agreement via the online submission system
* Ready to implement research project when funding is received
* Submit a final report
* Submit completed abstract to the Virginia Henderson Research Library and credit research grant partners in all publications and presentations of the research.

Grants available: 1 annually
Funding: US$4,500 (max)
Deadline: 1 July 2010
