20th Annual Terry McAdam Book Award
Nominate the most valuable nonprofit management book published in the last year!
Award: The award recipient will be highlighted during an Awards Ceremony at the Alliance's 2010 Annual Conference and will receive a $1,000 stipend.
Criteria for Nomination:
o Books must specifically address issues of nonprofit management, management consultancy, or advancement of the 501(c)3 nonprofit sector.
o Only first editions of books published during the current (2010) and preceding year (2009) will be considered.
o No publication can be associated with or affiliated to a McAdam Book Award Committee member.
o The book must be actively marketed to the national nonprofit community or a specific nonprofit community.
o All books on nonprofit management are eligible. Authors of nominated books are not required to be Alliance members.
o Multiple submissions by prolific authors or editors are acceptable.
o The quality of the book design will be considered, as well as content.
o Nominations may originate from any source, including Alliance members, publishers, authors and nonprofit managers.
o Past winning authors may be nominated again for new books published.
o Must be printed (i.e., no pdf files or other electronic versions accepted).
The deadline for nominations is March 15th, 2010.
