February 10, 2010 is the Deadline for Abstract Submission for the Alex Chao, MD, Young Investigators Award for Excellence in Scientific Research

This Award is given to a Resident of a vascular surgery program, Fellow or PhD candidate in a related field with an interest in vascular ultrasound. It consists of a $1,000 check, and an award plaque presented to the recipient at the 2010 SVU Annual Conference in Boston! Submit your abstract by February 10 to be eligible for this award.

Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to the vascular profession and be recognized at the 2010 Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) Annual Conference gathering of vascular technology professionals, vascular physicians, and industry representatives dedicated to vascular disease and its diagnosis and treatment. SVU will be meeting in conjunction with the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS).

Abstract Deadlines
Remember these deadlines for participation in the 2010 SVU Annual Conference:

February 10, 2010 Abstracts due to SVU National Office

March 8, 2010 Notification by this date of acceptance of abstracts

April 5, 2010  Manuscripts due for all accepted oral and poster presentations

Your oral or poster presentation abstract submission for the SVU’s 2010 Annual Conference may be on a topic of your choice. Material must be original and not previously presented or published. Case studies or a small series of patient studies are not usually considered for oral presentation, but are welcome for posters or case study sessions when offered at the SVU Annual Conference.
