The Award for Research in Mood Disorders is given to an individual who has advanced the understanding and treatment of mood disorders. The awardee receives a grant, certificate, travel, hotel, and free registration at the Annual Meeting. The Award for Research in Mood Disorders is sponsored by an unrestricted educational grant from Cyberonics, Inc. METHOD OF NOMINATION To encourage a broad range of candidates, individuals can be nominated as well as nominate themselves. Membership in The American College of Psychiatrists is not required. The Award is available not only to physicians but to anyone who has displayed excellence and dedication in the field of mood disorder research. Nominations should include: a letter of nomination: 2-3 pages maximum the nominee's Curriculum Vitae a statement by the nominee describing her/his accomplishments in the field of mood disorder research in 4- 5 pages maximum.
