International Travel Fellowship The award consists of a plaque and a $5,000 cash travel award. This award provides a well-recognized, widely experienced clinical chemist with the opportunity to promote the profession of clinical chemistry internationally or to raise the quality of clinical chemistry as it is practiced there. The recipient of this award is expected to travel to specific countries outside his or her own to teach, lecture, consult, or provide other assistance to hospitals, laboratories, universities, or other health organizations. This award differs from the International Travel Grants, which support travel by international scientists to AACC's Annual Meeting.
