This grant can be used to fund protected time for a one or two-year fellowship, or as a transition-to-faculty award to buy additional protected time within the first five years of faculty appointment. This award requires the naming of an official Mentor in the department. Amount: $30,000 salary support for one year. Application for renewal for a second year of salary support will be considered based on progress toward the stated goals during the initial year. Application Deadline: March 15th
